Here at Lit­tle White Lies, we’re com­mit­ted to pro­vid­ing equal access across all our plat­forms. We recog­nise the impor­tance of inclu­sion and access, and we are assess­ing and improv­ing the acces­si­bil­i­ty of our con­tent on a con­tin­u­ous basis, so that we can cre­ate a wel­com­ing and enrich­ing expe­ri­ence for dis­abled and d/​Deaf readers.

We’ve cre­at­ed this page to inform read­ers of the access mea­sures we cur­rent­ly prac­tice, and to make you aware of acces­si­bil­i­ty updates and ongo­ing devel­op­ments. Alt Text and Image Descriptions

We’re also mak­ing our web­site and social media chan­nels more acces­si­ble for those who use screen read­ers and oth­er assis­tive tech­nolo­gies, by includ­ing alt text and image descrip­tions for con­tent fea­tur­ing images.

Web­site

Our web­site is rou­tine­ly updat­ed with acces­si­bil­i­ty in mind. We are cur­rent­ly work­ing on improv­ing alt text, font size and colour con­trast, installing an acces­si­bil­i­ty tool­bar, and oth­er mea­sures. We are also speak­ing with con­sul­tants to iden­ti­fy access issues and to improve wher­ev­er we can.

Mag­a­zine

Our mag­a­zine is at the heart of every­thing we do, and we reg­u­lar­ly assess things like read­abil­i­ty, colour con­trast and lay­out styles. In 2021 we increased the point size of main body text to 8.5 based on read­er feedback.
